time magazine's "most influential people in the world" issue will be on newsstands tomorrow (may 4th). i'm not sure if this is an annual issue, although i'm wondering why some of these people made the list (cate blanchett? tyra banks?).
the list includes 71 men and 29 women from 27 countries. i'm actually surprised at the amount of entertainers on the list. i can see how celebrities like rosie o'donnell (who stirs up controversy with every breath she takes), oprah winfrey (who might actually be more powerful than the president), and michael j. fox (who is an advocate for stem cell research) made the list. but as mentioned before, how cate blanchett and tyra banks made the list, i have no idea.
others include philanthropists (time dubs them "power givers") like bill and melinda gates and queen rania al-abdullah of jordan made the list.
my question is, who is this asian guy in the picture below?
although if that guy turns out to be steve chen (one of the youtube co-founders), i'll feel like an ass.
