...sheryl crow adopted a 2-week old baby boy and named him wyatt (after her dad). i mean, she REALLY wanted to celebrate mother's day y'all....starting today, the cost of mailing a letter is now 41 cents, which is up 2 cents from before. more reason to pay bills online and keep in touch via e-mail.
...the five people that watch law & order every week will be happy to know the show will return for an 18th season next fall. bad news for l&o: criminal intent fans though. nbc pulled a switcheroo and the show will now air on usa. yep, you have to watch usa now.
...yahoo! and matt dillon (?!) will be in times square today to issue a challenge to search for the 'greenest city in america'. you can sign up to do your part at yahoo's "be a better planet" site.
...spider-man 3 slips 60% from opening weekend sales ($240 million to date), but still the number one movie in america. it's a good thing since shrek 3 is gonna wreck that for them next weekend.
