dancing with the stars B and C list celebs

i am so over this show. but i started watching this season, so i feel the need to see it through for whatever reason. although it was cute that laily dedicated her waltz to her dad muhammed ali (who was in the audience) and blew him a kiss.
so there's five left: laila ali, apolo ohno, ian ziering, joey fatone, and billy ray cyrus. last night was the quarter-finals (i think...since the semi-finals are next week) about a month ago, i predicted ian ziering would take the disco-ball trophy, i now have a new prediction: laila ali and apolo anton ohno in the finals, with apolo winning the whole damn thing.

they are the only two that blow the judges away every week. joey fat-one is pretty good too. but one judge doesn't like his "razzle dazzle".

so while i'm sorta over this show, it does make me wanna learn to ballroom dance. and it's the best show to watch in fast-forward.

the most interesting thing about last night's episode: mel b (yes, of spice girls fame) and chris kirkpatrick (yes, of 'nsync) were in the audience. i have no idea who mel b was supporting, but i love seeing her on tv. eff you eddie murphy!

as for who's getting kicked off tonight: billy ray cyrus has danced his last waltz. not even all the hannah montana votes in the world can save him from elimination.

I applaud Billy Ray Cyrus for taking a risk by going on Dancing With The Stars and learning the ballroom dances. He contributed a needed sense of realism to the show and tackled each dance with gusto and determination. My personal favorite dance team is Ian and Cheryl. They have so much personality and give each dance 100% effort. Ian is not a professional dancer (like Joey) or a professional athlete (like Apolo and Laila), so he's at a natural disadvantage, but yet he can go toe-to-toe with them in talent. Last week Ian received six straight "9s" from the judges. I hope he surprises everyone by giving his best performances in the next two weeks and capturing the trophy. If you like Ian and Cheryl, please do your part to vote for them on Monday -- vote 4 times for each phone number and 4 times online. Also, Ian has really cool videos on his websites at www.IanZiering.com and www.MySpace.com/OfficialIZ and there you can sign up to receive his fun email blasts.

Apolo is certainly a good dancer, but he is also a professional athlete (like Laila) so I would expect them to excel in a physical competition. Also, Joey Fatone is a professional dancer so he has an advantage as well. My personal favorite dance team is Ian and Cheryl. They have so much personality and give each dance 100% effort. Ian is not a professional dancer or athlete, but yet he has all the talent of the rest of them -- last week he received six straight "9s" from the judges. Joey Fatone is not a professional dancer...Yes he learned the moves for NSYNC but that doesn’t make him a professional. Hip hop moves are not the same as ball room.
Even JLO said she thought she'd be a ringer for that dancing movie she did and she said it was hard and different to do ballroom.

I agree with the athlete thing and the fact that they are so in tune with their bodies and how to move them that they can pick up the steps well.

Joey or Apollo all the way to the finals.....
