after two weeks of being in release, pirates of the caribbean: at world's end managed to keep the top spot at the box office. despite heavy advertising, critical praise, and word of mouth buzz, the judd apatow comedy knocked up came in at number two (although it did make a respectable $29 million). i'm happy that mr. brooks only made 10 million. not because i'm still mad at kevin costner for waterworld, but because whoever cast dane cook in that movie should be fired. and lastly, thank goodness shia lebeouf still has a movie in the top 10. here's the rest of the top 10:1. pirates of the caribbean: at world's end- $43.2M
